這次要為大家介紹一個位於小瀝源村的村屋設計案例。單位實用面積約 700 呎，戶主希望擁有一個簡約舒適，同時帶點個性的家居環境。我們結合了北歐風格的簡潔和工業風的粗獷，並巧妙地將屋外自然景觀融入設計，打造出一個清新自然的寫意空間。
將綠意引入室內：開放式廚房與特色牆
有別於一般公寓，村屋設計更需考慮與周遭環境的融合。這個單位的一大優勢，就是廚房外的大片窗戶，窗外綠意盎然的樹木，成為了我們設計的靈感來源。我們採用了開放式廚房設計，將窗戶化身成天然的特色牆，讓戶主在烹飪時也能欣賞到大自然的景色，為生活增添一份寫意。
美觀與實用兼備：雙功能廚房設計
廚房設計講求美觀與實用並重。我們將廚櫃分為兩個區域：一邊是設備齊全的烹飪區，另一邊則是實用的kitchen island，方便清洗和準備食材。這個設計不僅美觀，更解決了原本單位排水管線過長，容易淤塞的問題。而寬敞的廚房空間，也非常適合喜愛烹飪的戶主拍攝烹飪影片，與朋友分享美食。
色彩呼應，空間互動：客廳與自然景觀的對話
客廳的電視牆選用了帶灰綠色的油漆，與窗外的綠樹互相呼應，加強了室內外的連繫，讓空間更顯開闊。而客廳、飯廳與書房採用了開放式設計，營造出寬敞舒適的公共空間，方便家人互動交流。
統一材質，細節講究：水磨石的運用
為了提升整體設計的質感和統一性，我們在全屋多處運用了水磨石材質。洗手間選用了大面積的水磨石花磚，搭配卡其色淨色瓷磚，營造出復古時尚的感覺。廚房則選用了精緻的意大利水磨石磚，與整體風格互相呼應。此外，電視機櫃枱面和窗臺石也特別選用了真正的水磨石，讓設計細節更臻雅緻。
其他設計亮點：
入門位置： 暗門設計將洗手間和主人房的門隱藏起來，搭配全身鏡、柔和的燈光和綠色植物，營造出舒適 welcoming 的氛圍。
照明設計： 由於村屋樓底較低，我們選用了半高的盒仔燈，減少壓迫感，同時提供充足的照明。
小朋友房和姐姐房門： 房門面向客廳，我們特別在門上加入了几何圖形花線，為空間增添趣味和活力。
飯枱上的特色吊櫃： 飯枱上方設置了一個幾何圖形花面的吊櫃，內藏插蘇，方便用餐時使用電子產品，例如打邊爐時使用電磁爐。這個設計既美觀又實用，完美體現了我們對細節的追求。

Hong Kong Village Home Transformed: Breathing New Life with Nature-Inspired Design
Today, we invite you to step inside a beautifully designed village house in Siu Lek Yuen. With a focus on blending the clean lines of Scandinavian design with subtle industrial accents, we transformed this 700 sq ft space into a serene and stylish haven for our clients.
Embracing the Outdoors: Open Kitchen and a Natural Feature Wall
Unlike apartments, village houses offer a unique opportunity to connect with the surrounding environment. This particular unit boasts a large window in the kitchen that frames a picturesque view of lush greenery. We maximized this feature by designing an open kitchen, transforming the window into a stunning natural feature wall. Now, our clients can enjoy the beauty of nature while preparing meals.
Beauty Meets Functionality: A Kitchen Designed for Efficiency and Style
The kitchen is often considered the heart of the home, and this one is no exception. We divided the kitchen into two distinct zones: a fully equipped cooking area and a practical kitchen island for prepping and cleaning. This layout not only enhances the aesthetics but also addresses a common issue in older village houses – long and winding drainage pipes prone to clogging. The spacious design also provides the perfect backdrop for our client’s passion for cooking, allowing them to film cooking videos and share their love for food with friends.
A Dialogue Between Inside and Out: Connecting the Living Room with Nature
To further enhance the connection between the indoors and outdoors, we painted the living room’s TV wall in a soothing shade of grey-green, echoing the verdant hues of the trees outside. The open-plan design seamlessly connects the living, dining, and study areas, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere for family gatherings and relaxation.
Cohesive Elegance: The Art of Incorporating Terrazzo
To add a touch of sophistication and visual interest, we incorporated terrazzo throughout the house. In the bathroom, large-format terrazzo tiles paired with khaki-colored tiles create a sense of vintage charm. Meanwhile, the kitchen features elegant Italian terrazzo tiles that complement the overall design aesthetic. We even extended the use of terrazzo to the TV console countertop and window sills, adding a touch of understated luxury.
Other Design Highlights:
Entrance Area: We created a welcoming and clutter-free entrance by concealing the bathroom and master bedroom doors with a clever hidden door design. A full-length mirror, warm lighting, and strategically placed plants complete the look.
Lighting Design: To avoid a cramped feeling in the relatively low-ceilinged village house, we opted for semi-flush mount ceiling lights that provide ample illumination without overwhelming the space.
Children’s Bedroom and Sister’s Bedroom Doors: Facing the living room, the doors to the bedrooms presented an opportunity to add a touch of whimsy. We incorporated geometric patterns and lines on the doors, injecting a playful vibe into the living space.
Unique Pendant Light Above the Dining Table: A geometric pendant light takes center stage above the dining table, serving both a decorative and functional purpose. This cleverly designed pendant doubles as a computer cabinet with hidden sockets, perfect for powering electronic devices during meals.
This project perfectly illustrates our ability to translate our clients’ vision into a reality.
