香港家居的北歐之旅：從簡潔到實用
近年來，北歐風格在室內設計界越來越受到關注。作為香港的室內設計工作室，MapOut一直在探索北歐風格中的新元素，希望能夠將其融入我們的設計中，更符合香港人的喜好。
北歐風格以其簡潔、功能性和對自然材料的使用而著稱。這種設計風格強調的是創建一個和諧、舒適的生活空間，使人們在繁忙的都市生活中找到片刻的寧靜。
男主人是一位酷愛相機的收藏家，這給了我們一個獨特的設計靈感。在走廊和女兒的房間之間，我們特別設計了一個展示櫃，不僅可以展示他的相機收藏，還為女兒提供了內部儲物空間。這個設計還考慮到了家庭的實際需求：由於女兒還是嬰兒，我們在展示櫃上加裝了玻璃窗，方便父母在客廳也能看到女兒的動靜。
主臥和主浴室的設計也充分考慮到了空間的利用。我們移除了部分牆壁，設計了兩組入牆的全高櫃，既增加了儲物空間，又使兩個房間更加開闊。玄關的設計是這個家的亮點。我們巧妙地將雲石紋地磚和灰色木地板結合，從開放式廚房延伸到客廳，使整個入口區域看起來更加寬敞明亮。
這種設計不僅體現了北歐風格的簡潔和功能性，還為住戶創建了一個既現代又舒適的生活空間，讓他們在繁忙的都市生活中找到一個真正的家。

Scandinavian Style in Hong Kong Homes: From Simplicity to Practicality
In recent years, the Scandinavian design style has garnered increasing attention in the world of interior design. As a Hong Kong-based interior studio, MapOut has been continuously exploring new elements within the Scandinavian aesthetic, aiming to adapt and integrate them into designs that resonate with the preferences of Hongkongers.
The Scandinavian style is renowned for its simplicity, functionality, and the use of natural materials. This design philosophy emphasizes creating a harmonious and comfortable living space, offering a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The homeowner is a passionate camera collector, providing us with a unique design inspiration. Between the hallway and the daughter’s room, we crafted a special display cabinet. This not only showcases his camera collection but also offers internal storage for the daughter. This design also caters to the practical needs of the family: with the daughter still being an infant, we incorporated a glass window into the cabinet, allowing the parents to keep an eye on her from the living room.
The design of the master bedroom and bathroom was meticulously planned to maximize space utilization. By removing a portion of the wall and introducing two built-in full-height cabinets, we not only increased storage but also enhanced the spaciousness of both rooms. The entrance design is a highlight of this home. We ingeniously combined marble-patterned tiles with grey wooden flooring, extending from the open kitchen into the living room, making the entire entrance area appear more expansive and luminous.
This design not only embodies the simplicity and functionality of the Scandinavian style but also provides the residents with a modern yet cozy living space, a true haven amidst the city’s chaos.
